Being well aware that this post is beyond overdue, I have to say that working in fashion is not as easy as it seems. For starters I always end up falling in love with almost every piece of clothing that passes in front of me, so it’s impossible to concentrate on work that has to be done. Kind of like being a fat kid working in a candy store, which is not an unfortunate comparison - at all. I should start posting more of my dos and donts, I feel I could write a book with everything I learn day by day. I promise I will in the near future. For the time being I’m also very excited that christmas season is upon us and can’t wait for the festivities to begin. I always almost scream when I drive by a Christmas store window; being an old crazy cat lady doesn’t stop you from being a kid deep inside every time it even smells like christmas. And when I think of all the outfit opportunities one has during the season, suddenly everything becomes jolly good. Anyway, this outfit is from a couple weeks ago. The coat is vintage, bought in Paramour, and as much as I adore it I still haven’t found a lot of ways to incorporate it into my everyday uniform. For the time being it feels as if it can only be paired with black skinnies and booties, or maybe a full skirt and black Wolfords. I love that I still haven’t figured out all its uses, it makes styling it that much more interesting. Of course the length of the sleeve doesn’t provide the best possible warmth, but who dares feel cold when wearing brocade. The gloves are just a try to keep my fingers from freezing in this merciless athens cold.
